Rebeca Grynspan is Secretary-General of the Ibero-American General Secretariat. A former vice president of Costa Rica and former assistant secretary-general, associate administrator, and regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Development Programme, she is also Chair of the Board of the International Institute for Environment and Development and a member of the Global Council on Poverty and Sustainable Development at the World Economic Forum. In 2014 and 2015 she was named one of Latin America's leading intellectuals.
