气候承诺重生的一年

巴黎—随着全世界能够季节气候变化所带来的生存威胁的人口比例日益增加,2017年伊始就让我们感到一阵惊悚。事实上,在2016年摩洛哥马拉喀什联合国气候变化会议上,就已经有了明显的集体焦虑氛围。当时,特朗普刚刚当选为美国总统。

当时,人们的猜测集中在特朗普当选对美国和世界意味着什么上。但有一点基本上没有疑问,那就是对美国的减少温室气体排放、遏制最糟糕的气候变化影响的正式承诺,这绝对是一件坏事。

在整个2017年中,关于特朗普成为总统会带来什么的问题,答案日渐清晰。在指挥军事打击方面,特朗普显然是全世界最有权力的人,但其罔顾气候变化的科学共识以及阻挡全球转向绿色经济的权力十分有限。
