中国的科学革命

北京——中国经济近年来发生了根本性的变化,正在为科技的卓越进步打下坚实的基础。尤其是,中国参与了与疾病的斗争,而且,人们有理由相信该国将在未来的生命科学研究中发挥核心作用。

首先,麦肯锡季刊发布的一份报告显示,中国每年耗资2000亿美元进行研发,而且该投资水平仅次于美国。中国国家主席习近平将科技创新列为国家计划的首要任务。中国政府的第13个5年计划将重点放在大脑研究、基因科学、大数据和医疗机器人等新兴领域的复杂项目。

中国医疗科研投资如此之巨部分原因是该国有着尚未满足的巨大的医疗需求。到2050年,中国65岁以上人口预计将增加约1.9亿。此外,慢性疾病现在占中国疾病负担的80%以上。因此,中国自然已成为全球第二大医药市场,换句话说,据麦肯锡季刊报告显示,中国的创新经费到2020年将达到1万亿美元的规模。
