香港—中国从制造业驱动和出口拉动型经济向以服务和国内消费为基础之经济的转型正在稳步推进。这不仅对于中国是好消息,对全球经济的未来亦然。

冯氏集团利丰研究中心和中国社会科学院策划的《中国商业发展报告(2016~2017)》描述了这一变化。在经历了十多年的两位数增长后,中国零售市场规模在2015年达到了30万亿元。在投资速度有所下滑的形势下,家庭消费仍然开始攀升,现已突破GDP的60%。尽管零售消费增长率放缓至10.7%,但《中国商业发展报告》仍然预测中国国内零售市场将在2020年达到50万亿元规模。

这一转型的一个主要推动力是互联网技术。得益于巨大的公共基础设施投资,如港口、机场、公路、铁路和通讯,互联网正在迅速扩大中国消费者的选择范围,同时也降低了物流及递送的成本并提高了速度。
