心理学家长期研究心理偏见如何影响人们辨别图像偏见的能力。2008年,东北大学一组心理学家发现对犹太人偏见较深的人在辨别照片里的人像是否是犹太人方面不那么准确 。推而广之,人们认为自己在猜测其他人身份要素——例如性取向——方面准确度越高,他们的实际准确度就越低。
