谁希望中东和平?

在六日战争四十年以后,以色列人和巴勒斯坦人之间的和平似乎依然像过去一样遥不可及。以色列依然拒绝接受新的巴勒斯坦民族团结政府作为谈判对手,因为哈马斯是那个政府的一部分。这个看上去有些自相矛盾的事情的原委是什么呢?还存在希望吗?

巴勒斯坦政府只是在行政上是联合的,但是在政治上却是分裂的。巴勒斯坦人的政府有着两种政策。在政治上,巴勒斯坦总理哈尼亚依然拒绝承认以色列以及尊重已有的协议。他宣称他支持继续进行所有形式的抵抗。对于一个持这样立场的人,有谁能保证他会以真诚的努力去达成一项和平协议呢?

这正是欧盟在争论是否应该恢复对巴勒斯坦权力机构的经济援助时应该问自己的问题。欧盟应该明确地向哈马斯表明它不会资助恐怖活动,也不会援助拒绝达成和平。如果巴勒斯坦人想得到欧洲的帮助,对此我完全表示支持,那么它必须准备好达成和平,而不是破坏和平。不管怎样,应该反对的不是作为一个政党的哈马斯,而是哈马斯遵循的政治和政策。我们对哈马斯并不抱有成见,我们反对的是它好战的政策,这种政策在它加入政府后依然没有改变。
