& & & 第比利斯的局势无疑高度紧张。俄国坦克就在距离戈里不到25英里的地方。在我驾车穿过俄军检查站前往被俄军占领、已经是空城的戈里的时候看到交通要道两旁的麦田被俄国士兵放火焚烧。(最为难忘的景象是喝得醉醺醺的俄军穿着偷来的格鲁吉亚军服,他们说那是因为他们军服的要比我们的好。)
