只有回到“三教皇更替之年”(1978年)才能找到与国际货币基金组织和世界银行这两大全球金融支柱刚刚发生的领导人更替同样怪诞的继承戏剧。两个月前,世行行长保罗·沃尔福威茨(Paul Wolfowitz)在异乎寻常的员工反抗和管理崩溃中宣布辞职。如今,他在国际货币基金组织的同事,前西班牙财长罗德里戈·拉托(Rodrigo Rato)也宣布将于10月离任,这接踵而来的变故令主要利益相关人士惊诧不已。

失去一位国际信贷组织领袖是不幸,而失去两位则是疏忽(我向奥斯卡·王尔德深表歉意)。在锻造今天过度流动资本市场的大熔炉¾亚洲金融危机爆发10周年之际,传统的派系理论仍然甚嚣尘上。
