过去永不过去

巴黎——就一个国家而言,它和它的过去之间的关系至关重要:针对该国的现在和未来,针对它前进的生命力,针对从过去所犯的错误中学习,避免重犯错误。William Faulkner的名言如是说:过去“并没有死亡或被埋葬。事实上,它甚至从未过去”。这样的过去严重阻碍了一个国家自身可能与过去和现在的敌人之间达成必要的和解。
