阿拉伯之春的经济使命

华盛顿/伊斯坦布尔——突尼斯革命已经过去了一年,开罗解放广场的游行推翻了腐朽的独裁体制,同时也点燃了如今已成燎原之势的阿拉伯世界之火。没人能够百分百地确定这些时间最终会将阿拉伯人民和国家引向何方。但有一点是肯定的:没有回头路。新的社会和政治运动和结构正在浮现,权力正在转移,2012年,民主进程很有可能在整个阿拉伯地区加强和传播。

2011年在阿拉伯世界所发生的事件激起了人们对其他影响深远的地区转型的会议,比如1989年柏林墙倒塌后的东欧剧变。当然,阿拉伯和东欧是不同的,但阿拉伯剧变的势头之猛、蔓延之快与当年终结欧洲共产主义的革命不相上下。关于激起人民反对最终爆发的政治和经济因素的争论也是如此。
