欧洲想要公平竞争

随着乌克兰的民主进程继续痛苦地进行,欧洲人不知道原则政治能否有一天超越权力政治。相信世界不仅仅是零和思维是否太天真?欧洲能否在国际事务中促进公平竞争?还是不得不承认新的大国竞争游戏不可避免,然后也投身到这场喧嚣之中?

许多欧洲人都把自己看作是全球公平竞争的典范,但是欧洲自以为正直的想法并不总是得到别人的同意。

俄罗斯就是一个例子。俄罗斯对欧盟的意图感到怀疑,特别是最近对乌克兰的意图。我们并不感到惊讶。欧盟的成员已经从六国增加到25国,而且保加利亚、罗马尼亚、克罗地亚和土耳其还在等候加入。俄罗斯想知道欧盟的边界会扩展到哪里。它是否还计划吞并乌克兰、白俄罗斯和高加索地区?大多数欧盟成员国认为这是悬而未决的问题,近期内不大可能解决。然而克里姆林宫似乎隐隐约约地看到了一道烟幕,掩盖了欧盟的真实意图,尽管欧盟和俄罗斯最近的高峰会议提供了澄清事实的机会。
