土耳其能抵御住中东风暴吗?

伊斯坦布尔—一场可怕的暴力风暴席卷了中东大部。风暴中心从伊拉克(宗派冲突最近再次抬头)移到了叙利亚,但也将埃及、也门、利比亚和突尼斯包括在内。在更远的东方,阿富汗的暴力冲突进入了第二个十年,而巴基斯坦也在慢慢地滑向战争、内战或社会分裂的边缘。

最令人担忧的根本威胁是逊尼派和什叶派穆斯林之间的斗争愈演愈烈。类似地,虔诚的保守派和自由派和左翼世俗青年(2010—2011年间,正是他们挑战了开罗和突尼斯城的独裁者)也在互相操戈:最近埃及军事政变受到了自由派的支持、随后安全部队又令人震惊地屠杀开罗伊斯兰教徒游行就是明证。该地区人民正在滑入敌方阵营,社会伤口越来越深。

我常指出,土耳其不应该干预邻国的内部事务,也不应该采取以中东为核心的政策。政府和反对派都应该坚决地把焦点集中在欧洲,尽管欧盟在土耳其入盟谈判道路上设置了重重障碍。
