日本民主重获新生

纽约——

在日本,民众情绪和时尚潮流往往如同海啸,台风或是山体滑坡那样来的突然。经过长达50多年的连续执政,自由民主党(简称自民党)在近期的选举中黯然下台。在此之前的1993年,反对党组成的联合政府虽然也曾短暂执政,但当时的自民党在下院仍然占有绝对的多数。如今,这最后的堡垒也被攻破。中左派势力的日本民主党获得了下院480个席位中的300席。自民党这次输的是这么彻底。

目前,世界的焦点正关注着中国的经济奇迹,显然还没顾得上注意日本的这次政权交替。在全球媒体的眼中,日本政治历来缺乏悬念。有关日本的报道一般都集中在荒诞可笑的年轻流行文化。或是有点疯狂的性文化。其实,这个发生在世界第二大经济体国家中的变化可谓是翻天覆地。
