姑息的幽灵

布拉格——欧洲政治结构的一个基本支柱就是对平等的、普遍的和不可剥夺的人权这个普世价值抱有强烈而坚定的信念。而其核心就是从人权到自由生活的信念以及保护人的尊严。

二战之后,这种人文主义理念就成为欧洲精神和政治标识的基石,这种理念也被包纳在欧盟成立文件中。当然,这并不意味着欧盟可以或者想要以自身的价值、法规和文化强加给其他民族的名义,来征服世界上的其他国家。相反的,欧洲对人文主义的贡献意味着一种决心,那就是,无论在什么情况下,都要立场坚定、不放弃欧洲文明和欧洲统一的重要精神。所以,欧洲对于人权和自由的普世性尤为重视。

我们知道,世界上有许多地区,比如朝鲜、伊朗、缅甸、西藏、津巴布韦等地方,那里的人权和自由继续遭到践踏。本周,欧盟总务与对外关系委员会(GAERC)将召开会议,就欧盟与古巴的关系再次进行讨论。
