中国增长的未来

北京—近几周来,关于中国经济减速的新闻占据了媒体的标题。不管经济减速是持久现象还是暂时调整,中国当局都必须付出极大努力夯实中期和长期经济表现强劲的基础。

自1979年开始向市场经济转型以来,中国实现了非凡的经济增长,但如今,中国同时面临着几个严重挑战:加剧的不平等性、严重且不断恶化的环境破坏、顽固的外部失衡,还有社会的老龄化。

幸运的是,中国的十二五规划(2011—2015)已认识到深化市场导向改革的必要性,着眼于改变中国的发展模式,注重增长的质量、结构性改革和社会融合,以克服源于收入不平等的城乡差距。针对这一宏伟的长期目标,最新报告《中国2030:建设现代、和谐、富有创造性的高收入社会》(China 2030: Building a Modern, Harmonious, and Creative High-Income Society)给出了一些2030年前我的祖国发展成熟、良好的市场经济所需要的改革建议。
