巴基斯坦与自己的战争

拉合尔——目前,巴基斯坦正身处其军队与塔利班的夹缝之间,进行一场并非出自本意的战争。其民众抱着对爆炸与自杀性袭击的恐惧度过每一天,下一处受袭地点既可能是本地的清真寺,也可能是一个网吧或路边餐馆。大部分巴基斯坦人如今对于在该国蔓延的全方位军事行动只得听天由命。

与此同时,美国与巴基斯坦军方显然相信其唯一职责便是遏制塔利班势力。果然,只有当国内难民的数目涨至150万时(这是自卢旺达种族灭绝事件后最严重的人道主义灾难),包括美国在内的外国方面方才决定提供紧急援助。
