发自华沙——当时是华沙时间2001年9月11日下午3点,我正在跟波兰驻纽约总领事通电话。她告诉我说纽约世界贸易中心遭到了两架飞机的撞击。在那一刻,我意识到这可不仅仅是一场普通的空难。美国,世界,乃至我们所有人的生活,都被彻底地改变了。
