中国的非礼勿视外交

中华人民共和国成立以来一直如其所宣传的那样坚持不干涉其他国家内部事务的外交原则。但是随着中国的迅速崛起和与外部世界越发紧密的联系,这一原则变得越发在时代上错误。

中国在海外像苏丹和缅甸等地方发挥的作用不仅遭到国际谴责,而且也破坏了它的声誉。通过与专制政权保持亲密的关系和让它们免遭国际制裁,中国就有可能被视为它们的帮凶。即使中国的声音在解决危机或者防止流血上具有决定性作用,它不仅没有行动,其外交官反而重复着不干涉内政的老调。

最近缅甸的“僧侣革命”带给中国不仅是一个挑战,而且也是一个发挥影响力的机会。但是中国无所作为,仅仅呼吁克制,从而再一次在政治家测试中不及格。由于中国的勾结,缅甸人们的痛苦在持续。
