中国的经济身份危机

北京—中国和西方不同。美国前总统老布什曾经戏谑“愿景这玩意儿”(the vision thing),而中国对待经济战略非常严肃。这在最近的北京中国发展论坛上表现得淋漓尽致。中国发展论坛始于2000年,是每年在“两会”后不久举行一次的重要会议。

中国发展论坛最初由前总理朱镕基——中国最有战略眼光的现代改革家之一——决心举办,并很快成为中国高级决策者和国际学者、官员和商界领袖的高规格交流平台。本质上,这是知识压力测试——迫使中国领导人在严格而理性的外部专家面前为其新制定的战略和政策辩护。
