Chavez at Bay

Hasta el domingo pasado, cuando los venezolanos rechazaron la posibilidad de que Chavez fuera gobernante vitalicio, Sudamérica se dividía en tres bloques:

· el bloque populista , en su versión petro-gasífera (Venezuela, Bolivia y Ecuador), acompañado por modelos marxistas dependientes de los petrodólares (Nicaragua y Cuba);

· el bloque social demócrata (Brasil, Uruguay, Chile y Perú) y
