中国可以拯救欧洲吗?

克莱蒙特,加利福尼亚——欧洲的债务危机已不再光是欧洲事件了。欧洲债务危机加上对美国二次探底衰退的担忧,正在将全球经济拖入另一次金融恐慌和经济衰退循环。

身处外围的新兴市场经济体大体上(特别是所谓的金砖国家,即巴西、俄罗斯、印度和中国)都深感幸运,没有被卷进这个金融大漩涡。但它们应该再好好想想。在全球金融市场和贸易网络高度一体化的背景下,发达经济体(至今在全球GDP仍占近60%的比重)的金融危机和经济收缩将不可避免地有损于新兴市场国家的繁荣。

于是就有人开始呼吁新兴国家拿出它们的巨量外汇储备来购买希腊、意大利和西班牙等危机国的债务。手握3.2万亿美元外汇储备的中国更是被视为将欧洲国家救出债务泥淖的潜在白衣骑士。
