救市的忧虑

纽约——不需要多有天才就能看出美国金融体系——实际上是全球金融体系——陷入了危机。而现在随着美国众议院否决布什政府提出的7000亿美元救市计划,很显然我们在如何解决危机方面也没有达成共识。

几年来,美国的经济和金融体系一直存在问题。可那并没有阻止美国领导人向这场危机的始作俑者求助,这些人在危机将我们带到又一次大萧条的边缘之前根本看不到问题的存在,现在却提出一个又一个救市计划想救我们于水火之中。

随着全球市场迅速滑落,救市计划几乎肯定要再次提交国会投票表决。这个计划也许救得了华尔街,但能否救得了经济?纳税人又怎么办?他们已经被史无前例的赤字所困扰,到现在仍然背负着基础设施衰退和两场战争的债务负担。在这种情况下, 任何一项 救市计划真能起作用吗?
