日本这场地震与海啸带来的人员伤亡与财产损失难以估量。目前要对损失程度作精确地全面评估根本就不可能。但即便如此,我们还是能够对这场灾难对亚洲和世界其他主要经济体的潜在溢出效应开始进行评估。

狭隘的看,这场灾难对日本经济不会产生任何重大影响。日本经济20多年来增长缓慢,这大大降低了日本对更广泛的全球经济增量的影响。这场灾难可能会在汽车和如闪存驱动器这类信息技术产品上产生一些供应链失衡的影响,但这类影响往往都转瞬即逝。
