巴黎——我写的新闻评论往往从阴暗的角度出发。可悲的是这一篇也不会例外。但却有两则好消息能够冲破黑暗。

首先,美国总统巴拉克·奥巴马再度当选发出了明确的信号:世界已经躲过了一场国际合作劫难。美国已经处在孤立民族主义的边缘,仇外情绪或许进一步强化了这种现状。尽管美国的经济劫难依然没有过去,但奥巴马的获胜却用充满同情的聆听和美国对全球公共利益合法性的认可开辟了合作的光明大道(美国在气候变化问题上就遗憾地对全球公共利益采取视而不见的态度)。

另一条好消息因为关乎法国而更有“地方性”,但其重要性却毫不逊色。像发达世界其他国家一样,金融危机严重打击了法国经济,导致生产停滞、失业率升高、就业不确定性上升、政府债务飙升,股市也面临崩溃的危险。制造业生产大幅下降、贸易收支急剧恶化,越来越多的企业濒临破产。
