Digital Marketing Associate

Project Syndicate is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to help manage its growing digital presence. The Digital Marketing Associate will provide administrative support for the digital and marketing teams, help manage Project Syndicate’s social media channels, implement strategies and tactics, assist in reporting, and generally help grow Project Syndicate’s subscriber base and global reach.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in marketing, social media, or customer-facing roles, with a keen interest in learning more. Flexibility, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and the drive and willingness to adapt to shifting responsibilities and priorities is paramount. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage social media channels and presence, including daily posting and pre-scheduling content
  • Write copy for all social media, newsletter, and web marketing campaigns
  • Devise and implement all paid digital campaigns, in collaboration with the digital team and third-party vendors
  • Maintain social media data collection, reporting, and analysis
  • Provide support for the marketing and digital teams
  • Point of contact for, and oversight of, existing subscriber accounts
  • Own and manage the PS Support inbox
  • Manage any customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions in a timely manner
  • Advise on potential changes to products and processes based on customer feedback

Key Skills & Experience (required)

  • Minimum one year of experience in customer-facing, social media, or marketing roles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with a high level of detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Authorization to work in the Czech Republic/EU

Key Skills & Experience (preferred)

  • Adobe Creative Cloud skills
  • Knowledge of, and experience working with, social media curation tools (Emplifi or similar)
  • Knowledge and interest in the news industry and current events
