When Growth Becomes Dangerous

At the start of 2018, equity prices remain at an all-time high, and the global economy is on track to grow by 4% or more in the next year. But with the share of income and wealth held by the bottom 90% continuing to fall, while the share going to the top 1% continues to rise, many workers might reasonably ask what good growth is doing them.
