叙利亚能走出冷宫么?

发自伊斯坦布尔——不知最近美国和叙利亚两国间重归于好的这阵东风,是否能为叙利亚送来一个国际地位的新时期呢?

随着对美外交关系的全面恢复,叙利亚有望迎来两项重大变化。首先,它的名字将从美国那份非正式的邪恶轴心黑名单中划掉,并因此大大提高该国加入世界贸易组织的机率。其次,叙利亚将有可能获得在其境内铺设一条自伊拉克至土耳其输油管道的许可。而这样一条与土耳其经济——甚至是欧盟——的连通渠道将激励叙利亚更多地向外国资本开放自己的经济。

但得到这些好处也不是没有代价的。叙利亚方面一贯用来讨价还价的筹码就是撤销本国对黎巴嫩真主党的支持,并以此收复戈兰高地。而以色列自然会对这一成果百般阻挠,伊朗这个所谓什叶派新月地区(指从黎巴嫩到塔吉克斯坦之间的区域)的领袖也将强硬抵制这场交易的发生,甚至不惜动用武力。
