中国会领导世界么?

纽约——

中国愿意加入对可能性的伊朗制裁行动,加上胡锦涛主席本月参加华盛顿核安全峰会等行动,是在参与国际事务上采取更负责任的态度上迈出了积极的一步。但是,如果只是参加会谈或是作秀当然还不够。作为一个崛起的大国,中国必须做出更多的成绩来显示出一个全球领袖的地位,否则就有可能损害使之崛起的国际体系。

中国取得的成就出乎绝大多数观察人士的意料——包括中国领导人自身都没有想到——恐怕,放在10年之前,谁也想不到。中国快速的经济增长相比于美国在伊拉克和阿富汗的困境,不断激增的债务以及在本次全球金融危机中的始作俑者来说,此消彼长的变化已经改变了世界的格局——而且之后的趋势还会进一步发展,中国目前在国际上的影响力超过自身的实际能力。
