特拉维夫—苏格兰最近的独立公投的最终结果是英国安然无恙,这本不令人奇怪。在过去,地区或社会建国成功几乎清一色是依靠反殖民统治和压迫的斗争,推动力量往往是独特的宗教、文化或种族身份诉求。关于经济活力、社会政策或治理低效的怨气——苏格兰对独立说“是”的阵营的基础就在于此——从未唤起过成功的独立运动。对西方的其他分裂主义者来说,这是个坏消息。
