加沙撤离之后又会是什么?

在加沙长达38年的占领后,以色列军队的撤退和犹太定居点的撤离是军力限度的最新证明,即便军力再强大也不能例外。现在应该汲取从多年占领和反抗运动中得来的教训,进而了解以色列和巴勒斯坦人应该怎么做。

首先必须弄清巴勒斯坦人在以色列撤军中的贡献到底有多大。没错,巴勒斯坦人的抵抗和牺牲对阿里埃勒·沙龙在摒弃和平政策几十年后的重新回归作出了贡献,但将以色列撤军完全归功于巴勒斯坦的抵抗肯定是错误的。毕竟,以色列实施这项苦乐参半的行动并非军事失败和政治谈判的明确结果。

但单方政策绝非合理有效的长期政策,因为它带不来中东地区真正的持久和平。正如布什总统在伊拉克学到的,沙龙也不得不承认自己政策的局限性。
