哈马斯到底想要什么

在建立巴勒斯坦地区政府的过程中,哈马斯仿佛是在谨守着《圣经·传道书》中的诗文,而非遵循四方集团(美国、俄罗斯、欧盟以及联合国)力图缩小以色列-巴勒斯坦地区分歧的希望。“凡事都有定期,天下万务都有定时”,这句话很适合哈马斯目前对轻重缓急的考虑,因为哈马斯首要解决的问题及其时间框架与国际社会有着很大不同。国际社会敦促哈马斯马上作出政治声明,最重要的是,承认以色列的生存权。

哈马斯知道自己必须履行其政治责任才能被世界接受,但其领导人希望等到政权充分稳固后再考虑这些问题。而且,和多数巴勒斯坦人一样,哈马斯正在权衡推进和平进程的最佳方法。在他们眼中,多年来在谈判中毫无建树,致使巴勒斯坦的土地被长期占领和窃取。

比如,哈马斯领导人去年曾经指出,在温和的马哈茂德·阿巴斯执政期间,以色列也并未和他进行过谈判。因此,以他们的观点,以色列并不急于与任何巴勒斯坦政府谈判,无论他是否承认以色列的生存权。
