青少年生活数据不足

西雅图—数据可以拯救生命。没有数据,我们就不会知道吸烟引起肺癌和冠心病,不会知道头盔能降低摩托车事故的死亡率,不会知道改善妇女教育状况能增加儿童存活率——这样的例子不胜枚举。可靠的数据无比重要,因此收集数据必须作为重中之重。

一个数据严重不足的领域是青少年健康。10至24岁年龄段所获得的关注远远少于其他年龄段。更广泛地说,如新的青少年健康和福利柳叶刀委员会(Lancet Commission on Adolescent Health and Wellbeing)所强调的,全球健康和社会政策几乎完全忽略了青少年健康。
