土耳其的精神之战

随着由新总统竞选引发的政治僵局进一步恶化,土耳其已经进入了一个对国内世俗民主发展和与西方关系都影响深远的关键时期。土耳其最高法院已经拒绝了目前任外交部长的伊斯兰温和派人士阿卜杜拉·居尔(Abdullah Gul)参与总统竞选的提名,并将原定于11月份举行的议会选举提早到了7月,以期打破政治僵局。但这些措施不太可能缓和雷杰普·塔伊普·埃尔多安(Recep Tayyip Erdogan)总理与土耳其军队之间的矛盾,因为土耳其军队一直以土耳其世俗国家的守护神自居。
