土耳其的世俗原教旨主义威胁

土耳其高等上诉法院的首席检察官不久前向该国宪法法院提出建议,要求永久性地取缔执政的正义与发展党(AKP)。而就在去年的7月,正义与发展党还以绝对的优势在一次自由而公正的选举中再次当选为政府的领袖。首席检察官还正式提出在5年的时间里取缔总理埃尔多安(Recip Erdogan)、总统阿卜杜拉·居尔(Abdullah Gul)和其他69名政界人物的从政权利。

取缔正义与发展党毫无疑问将引发一场政治危机,断送土耳其在可以预见的未来加入欧盟的努力,并对这个国家强劲的经济发展构成威胁。因此我们绝不应该轻视首席检察官所发出的警告——特别是考虑到现行宪法从1982年正式实施后,宪法法院已经取缔了18个政党(正义与发展党的前身也包括在内),这位首席检察官的警告就更应该引起人们的注意。事实上,取缔正义与发展党的最新呼吁与修改土耳其宪法的努力息息相关。

首席检察官控诉的潜台词是正义与发展党一直在破坏世俗主义。但目前宪法的起源,以及它对世俗主义的定义,都非常值得怀疑。
