难民的困境

希腊塞浦路斯人拒绝去年4月联合国秘书长科菲·安南提出的塞浦路斯统一计划,其中的一项重要原因是绝大多数人认为这项计划未能给在1974年土耳其入侵中无家可归的难民以应有的公正。这也是国际公众舆论认识到该岛还存在难民问题的有数几个场合之一,究其原因,已经很少有人知道这场战争中仍然有难民存在。

希腊雅典军政府的统一努力失败后,1974年土耳其入侵塞浦路斯期间,约有250,000希腊塞浦路斯人无家可归。其中有些人由于惧怕侵略军而逃走,有些人被入侵者驱逐¾战争中常会出现这种复杂、充满道德问题的状况。
