作为世界上最大的两个开放代码媒体平台维基百科以及Connexions的创始人,我们都曾经被人指责为异想天开。我们各自着迷于建立一个让任何人都可以为自由和开放学习资源做出贡献的网络平台。吉米开创了由大众编写的百科全书。里查德则开发了一个为作家、教室以及学生设立、重新混合以及分享课程以及课本的平台。
