以今天的眼光来看,尼克松时代的问题似乎挺好对付,甚至显得微不足道。当时,全世界的货币储备分布略显不均:到1971年底,德国拥有价值172亿美元的储备,日本141亿美元,分别占世界总量的14%11.5%。而在2008年(我们掌握数据的最近一年),日本拥有全球储备的23.4%,中国则拥有44.8%。今日的数字高得多了。
