Zkrat elektromobilu

PRAHA – Idea automobilu na elektrický pohon desítky let uchvacovala fantazii inovátorů – včetně Henryho Forda a Thomase Edisona před více než sto lety. Celebrity, experti i političtí předáci vykreslují tato vozidla jako apoteózu ekologicky zodpovědné budoucnosti. Německá kancléřka Angela Merkelová prohlásila, že do roku 2020 bude po německé Autobahn jezdit milion elektromobilů. Také americký prezident Barack Obama slíbil Spojeným státům milion elektromobilů – ovšem o pět let dříve.

Jednoho dne bude elektromobil rozhodně skvělým výrobkem – avšak dnes jím ještě není. Stojí příliš, je nepohodlný a jeho ekologický přínos je zanedbatelný (a v některých případech nulový).

Mnoho rozvinutých zemí elektromobily štědře dotuje: v USA činí dotace až 7500 dolarů, v Kanadě 8500 dolarů, v Belgii 9000 eur, a dokonce i finanční tísní sužované Španělsko poskytuje 6000 eur. Nejvelkorysejší dotaci však nabízí Dánsko, které osvobozuje elektromobily od registrační daně ve výši 180%, jež platí pro všechny ostatní automobily. V případě nejpopulárnějšího elektromobilu Nissan Leaf má tato daňová úleva hodnotu 63 000 eur.
