英国的政坛地震

发自伦敦——火山爆发通常都会造成一定后果的——但我要说的可不是上次冰岛火山爆发所导致的航班混乱——那座火山的名字实在太长太难拼,以致五角大楼索性偷懒给它定了个军用编号“E-15”,“E”是火山名的首字母,“15”则指代后面那一长串15个字母。

回想在1783年的时候,冰岛有座火山向天空中喷发了过量的火山灰,以至于整个北半球几乎降温达3年之久,不但导致粮食减产和饥荒,甚至有历史学家认为正是该事件催生了法国大革命。

那么我们是否该把今年爆发的“英国革命”归罪于E-15?这显然有点离谱了,但英国保守党和自由民主党组建联合政府的协议对于许多英国选民来说不亚于一场革命。在伦敦这个地界上,其他国家司空见惯的共同管治协议看上去就像是一种全新的政治形式。
