巴黎——在华盛顿看来,法国干涉利比亚的热情既让人迷惑又让人解脱。美国人并不愿插手此事,因此很高兴别人愿意。实际上,尼古拉·萨科奇总统(和英国首相大卫·卡梅伦的干涉意愿)有助于弥合“价值观”和“实际利益”之间的危险差距,前者要求美国直接干预穆阿迈尔·卡扎菲,而后者则迫使巴拉克·奥巴马总统保持克制。
