科技何时会破坏高等教育?

诚然,PowerPoint演示替代了黑板,“群众在线课程”注册量动辄超过100,000(尽管真正参与的学生数量总是会小得多),“翻转课堂”用观看教学录像代替作业,上课时间则用来讨论习题。但是,既然教育的核心是提高生产率,那么重振如今僵化的西方经济体的重点难道不应该放在改革高等教育上吗?

不难理解,小学和中学阶段变化十分缓慢,因为社会和政治障碍重重。但高等院校具有远强于中小学的试验能力;事实上,从诸多方面看,试验能力正是它们的存在的理由。
