北京——邓小平开放经济30年来,今天的金融危机和迫在眉睫的全球衰退正前所未有地挑战着中国出口驱动型的经济模式。实际上,近几个星期,数千家制造企业倒闭和劳动力市场的大面积动荡正在严重影响着这座“世界工厂”的活力。

我相信,中国创新的发展模式很可能帮助它战胜发展中的金融危机及由此产生的社会和政治动荡等问题。此外,如果中国能安然度过这场风暴,其作为新兴经济和政治力量的地位将进一步得到巩固。

中国经济模式的核心是一系列改革进程的谨慎排序,其中经济改革优先于政治改革,也就是说保留中国共产党(CPC)的领导地位以及现行的宪法体制。这一模式大大解放了经济、社会和官方的意识形态,同时也保留了主要银行和大型国有企业(SOEs)的公有制基础,并以此作为“经济的稳定器”。
