人民币,向前进

伦敦—诺贝尔经济学奖获得者罗伯特·蒙代尔(Robert Mundell)曾说,“大国有大货币”。长期向蒙代尔取经的中国政府似乎深谙这一概念,多年来一直要求国际货币基金组织(IMF)将人民币加入决定其储备资产特别提款权(SDR)价值的货币篮子中。如今,中国得偿所愿,这是对中国在国际金融中扮演主要角色能力的信心的巨大一票。

但是,许多市场参与者仍然对IMF的这一决定表示怀疑。人民币真的可以和美元、欧元、日元和英镑在国际货币体系中平起平坐吗?

毫无疑问,中国在相对较短的时间内取得了举世瞩目的进步。2009年以来,以人民币结算的中国贸易比重从不到1%增加到20%以上。如今,人民币是在国际支付中使用第四多的货币。
