实际上我们都是吃一堑,长一智:数码化的信息几乎永远挥之不去,即便我们想让它消失。其结果就是我们过去的阴云笼罩着现在的生活。当电脑和因特网日益成为生活中不可或缺的一部分,这一现实也是社会所面临的最大挑战之一。

数千年以来,记忆信息一直是件昂贵且费时的事,而遗忘则是人的本性使然。在数码时代,情况则相反:低成本的海量储存、强大的处理器、无所不在的因特网令记忆成为一种常态。
