波兰的历史犯罪

耶路撒冷—二战前几个月,我的父母和我来到特拉维夫。我们一大家子里的其他人——我的祖父母和外祖父母中的三位、我母亲的七位兄弟姐妹以及我的五位表兄弟姐妹——留在了波兰。他们都死于大屠杀。

我去过波兰很多次,每次都觉得那里没有犹太人存在感。我的书籍和文章被翻译成波兰文。我在华沙大学和克拉科夫的雅盖隆大学(Jagiellonian University)讲学。我最近当选为波兰艺术和科学院外籍院士。尽管我几乎不会说波兰语,但波兰历史和文化对我而言并不陌生。

出于这些原因,我理解波兰政府最近为什么要引入关于历史问题的立法。但我仍然怒不可遏。
