法国的9/11

巴黎—“法国的9/11”,在讽刺杂志《查理周刊》(Charlie Hebdo)大屠杀爆发后,法国人马上把该事件比作2001年基地组织对美国的袭击。事实上,1月7日的袭击是法国自1962年阿尔及利亚战争结束以来的最为恶性的杀人事件。但把它比作9/11正确吗?

乍一看,这一比喻武断而牵强。巴黎有十二人死亡,而纽约和华盛顿有近3,000人被杀。巴黎的袭击者使用的是卡拉什尼柯夫冲锋枪,而不是劫持的飞机。此外,与9/11袭击者不同,他们都睡被袭击国家的公民。因此,2015年巴黎袭击事件看上去更像是其他两起袭击事件的合体:2005年伦敦地铁爆炸事件(恐怖分子全部是英国公民)和2008年孟买事件(恐怖分子使用轻型武器针对个别定向目标)。

但是,尽管有这些重大差别,但巴黎袭击和纽约袭击的实质是一样的。两个城市都是相似的大同梦想的化身。两个城市都是光明和自由的象征。两个城市都属于全世界而不只属于各自的国家。
