巴勒斯坦寄希望于奥巴马

拉马拉—当选总统奥巴马在竞选中坚决并且积极地呼吁变革不仅在数百万把选票投给他的美国人心中燃起了希望,同时也给世界其他地方几十亿没有机会投他的票的人心中带去了希望。整个中东地区像其他地区一样也满怀期望他就任总统后将为美国在世界上的角色开创一个新时代。

巴勒斯坦对于美国的民权运动有强烈认同感。许多人回忆起美国社会强制实行种族隔离的黑暗时期。但是仅仅在几十年后这个社会就选择了一位非洲裔的美国人担任总统,这使巴勒斯坦人重燃希望,亦即我们在为公正和自由而进行的长期不懈的斗争中也将最终取得胜利。
