纽约—粮食体系已经全球化了。如今,北美肉食从地头到盘中平均要走2400公里。随着粮食供应链的演变,保证所有人都能获得粮食的措施越来越重要,而“粮食权”已成为自下而上变革的重要推动力。

9月印度出台了具有里程碑意义的粮食安全法,保证三分之二的人口每个月可以获得五公斤小麦、稻米和其他视频补贴,并加强了对孕妇、学校儿童和老人的支持。尽管这套系统毫无疑问存在大量漏洞,但把获得粮食作为法定权利是朝向正确方向的重要一步。
