拉丁美洲新旧左翼对峙

有两种方式可以诠释最近拉美国家的选举结果。第一而且是最为明显的是,所谓的左倾江河日下。在最近数周里,与委内瑞拉总统查韦斯同出一辙的极端民族主义的乌马拉在秘鲁大选中落选,保守派的乌里韦在哥伦比亚大选中大获全胜,赢得62%的选票,而洛佩斯则已经在7月2日的墨西哥总统选举中落后。所有这些个别的事件似乎与拉丁美洲的左倾潮流格格不入。
