纽约——德州州长佩里(Rick Perry)首次在德州之外开火了,他指责奥巴马“姑息”巴勒斯坦人。前纽约市长郭德华(Edward Koch)在纽约州支持天主教共和党国会议员候选人,反对犹太民主党候选人,因为共和党候选人事无巨细都支持以色列,也因为奥巴马对以色列的约旦河先定居点扩张计划持保留态度。用郭德华的话说,奥巴马“把以色列扔下了车。”结果,共和党候选人获胜了。
